Picking The Tomatoes

The fruits should be hand picked when their color changes to red. It can then be ripened by placing them on any sunny windowsill  to prevent them from being eaten by any bird or rot on the vine. The taste of these fruits are enhanced if they are ripened on the vine, therefore a perfect balance is to keep them on the vine long enough between the taste as well as when it ripens.
